What you can do to your townhome in Danbury,CT

In your townhome or condo in Danbury, you are allowed to make some changes & in other cases you are not allowed to. You are allowed to make most cosmetic changes in the unit, such as painting, flooring, appliances, counter tops, lighting fixtures and plumbing fixtures. In many communities, you are responsible for the windows, provided that you stay with the same style & look for the other windows within the community.
You are allowed to do very little changes on the exterior of the condo. This includes painting the garage door, the front door & siding. In most communities, you can not change the amount of outdoor space that you have. In some communities, you are allowed to have a company install a satellite dish, provided that you comply the guidelines as directed by the condo homeowners association.  If you are looking in to moving walls inside the condo, you do often have get a plan drawn up & have your proposal voted on by the association. If you have any questions about what you can & can't do in your condo, consult with the rules & regulations booklet in addition to the condo association and/or property management company.
