When should you reduce your asking price?

Believe me, it is no fun for me to sell sellers that their property needs to reduced. if no one is looking at your home or if there are homes with more features in a similar location, and you need to sell your home, you need to drop your price. No amount of marketing can account for a product that is being sold above market value. The price would appeal to new buyers and show them at your are serious about selling your home.

I do not take joy selling that your largest investment is not worth how much we thought it was a few weeks ago. I work hard studying what is on the market, what is selling and what is sold.  It is my job to inform you of market conditions and activity. If your price is above market value, your home will help sell other peoples homes and you will be tailgating the market.

I do get worked up and nervous to explain that your home is too high. It’s it stressful to explain the situation. I feel really bad having to deliver the news.I drive myself crazy on how to deliver the news, but I have to tell you.

However, I do have an obligation to tell you what you need or should do in order to get your home sold. so that you can move on. At the end of the day, it is your decision whether you can going to stay or you are going to sell.
